tony leung chiu wai as zhou yu of the wu kingdom. a brave commander and general, loyal to his king and kingdom, as well as a good strategist, but pales in comparison to zhuge liang when it comes to battle games, strategies and tactics. died at a young age.

takeshi kaneshiro as zhuge liang of the shu kingdom. crafty and clever advisor and strategist, loyal to his lord and king, liu bei. one of the greatest people of all time. feared even when dead, as seen as in the battle of the wuzhang plains.

chang chen as sun quan, the overlord of the wu kingdom. inherited the throne when only 18, when his brother died suddenly. best buddies with zhou yu, one of his greatest military commander and strategist.
zhang fengyi as cao cao. overlord of the wei kingdom and a very powerful and clever man. said to be both cruel and kind. good at battle strategies and tactics but lost to the combined power of the kingdoms of wu and shu at the battle of the red cliff.

hello everyone! im supposed to be mugging but decided to take a small break. anyway im going to watch 赤壁 (red cliff) today night! yay! and next friday, i'll be watching the dark knight (batman) after the block tests! anyway, this red cliff flim will not be the full story of the epic battle at the red cliff, otherwise known as chibi, 赤壁，cos there will be a part 2 coming out soon. the movie company does know how to cheat people's money eh? but in this way, the flim will be more detailed, which is kinda a good thing afterall. (note: i didn't post any picture of lin chiling, who acted as xiao qiao, zhou yu's wife because i can't stand her.)
